How it works
Systems like this normally cost a fortune to keep running. I found a way to build the whole thing on a fully local, open-source stack, so it costs nothing to run and keeps running for free, for good. No API keys, no usage limits, no subscriptions.
Local LLMs via Ollama with tool calling, multi-step planning, and emotion detection. Automatically picks the right model for your hardware.
Reads live UI element trees via the OS accessibility API — no screenshots. Pixel-diff capture fires only when screen changes.
Vector memory via ChromaDB, personal knowledge graph in SQLite, and session summaries — Raven remembers everything about you.
Always-on wake word detection, local speech-to-text via Whisper, and natural voice responses with emotional tone — fully offline.
